London based company Abundance has raised GBP 14m in direct investment for 13 renewable energy projects in three years. From 26th November to 6th December 2015, GBP 2.17 million has been invested directly by the British public in Abundance’s latest UK based wind, biomass and solar projects. Expected returns are 12% interest per year.
25% of electricity in Great Britain is now produced from renewable energy. By 2020, it can be 30% or more. The UK Government has, however, taken a few moves away from supporting renewable energy development. Abundance enables people who want to support renewables to invest in their projects and receive bank-beating returns at low risk.
