Texas refineries will take weeks to recover

About a fifth of oil processing in Texas oil refineries was halted by power outages, shortages of natural gas and water. It may take several weeks to resume normal operations, industry experts estimated on Friday, February 19. Gasoline prices have risen after a partial shutdown of Texas refineries. On the other hand, prices of U.S. crude oil will fall due to reduced demand.
