Grupo Clavijo building a photovoltaic facility in Israel

The Spanish enterprise Grupo Clavijo begins work on new 55 MW photovoltaic facility in the Israeli settlement of Ohad. SP 1000 model single-axis trackers selected for solar park project. This is a single-axis tracker which stands out due to its robustness, adaptability to the terrain, flexibility in the positioning of photovoltaic modules, and extreme ease of assembly. Furthermore, it comes with a bearing patented by Grupo Clavijo, and which requires no maintenance.

The facility is expected to be delivered in May 2014. Once operational, it will produce 110,000Mwh per year, providing for up to 55,000 homes. The new solar park will cover an area of 4.5 km in length by 2.5 km in width.
