Political agreement reached on rules for cross-border energy infrastructure

The European Council, Parliament and Commission negotiators have agreed in principle on new EU rules for cross-border energy infrastructure and future Projects of Common Interest (PCIs). They have agreed to modernize the Trans-European network for Energy (TEN-E) Regulation (which dates back to 2013) and to fully align it with Green Deal objectives.
