One of the strictest dress code in the Western corporate world - the Disney Look - is becomming a little bit more relaxed. Male employees of the fun and theme parks operated by Disney in the U.S. will (in addition to wear a mustache) be allowed to wear a beard or a goatee from 3rd February. The length of the facial hear can, however, not exceed a quarter of an inch (0.6 cm).

Visible tattoos, piercings, extreme hairstyles and colors of hair remain forbidden in Disneylands. This applies to all employees from ticket sellers to those who wear the Mickey Mouse costume, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The dress code is one of the strongest fundamentals of the Disney corporate culture and identity. It changes only very slowly. Until 2010, for example, women could wear only skirts and tights and were not allowed to wear sleeveless tops. Today, they may wear tops with shoulder straps, the shoulder straps, however, must be at least three inches (7.6 cm) wide.
