It is not in the Czech nature to talk about salary and money. It is also one of the reasons why companies advertising vacancies on the Czech job portal Profesia.cz do not mention salaries. Approximately only 1 in 5 job offers mention salaries. Companies that specify future salaries, however, have a better chance of finding good candidates.
A survey by Profesia.cz showed that twice as many candidates respond to job offers with a specified salary. Specifying the future salary in a job add increases the amount of responses especially in the field of administrative staff, skilled workers and lower and middle management.
