Job insecurity or reorganization is the most common cause of work-related stress in Europe. 51% of Europeans and 55% of Czechs consider work-related stress as common. That is according to the 3rd edition of the pan-European opinion poll conducted by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) which also focused on active ageing. The survey was conducted from 23rd November 2012 to 5th February 2013 across 31 countries including the Czech Republic.

59% of workers perceive unacceptable behavior such as bullying or harassment as a cause of work-related stress, 57% report a lack of support from colleagues or superiors, 52% report a lack of clear definition of roles and responsibilities and 46% reported a limited ability to control the system of work
Work-related stress in the Czech Republic

55% of workers in the Czech Republic believe that stress at work is common in their workplace, 18% say it is "very common"

60% of non-manual workers and 50% of manual workers consider work-related stress as common at their workplace

68% of part-time workers, 46% of full-time workers and 66% of self-employed persons think that stress is well managed in their workplace
