The International Coach Federation (ICF) invites coaches from around the world to participate in a study entitled 2015 Global Coaching Survey, which was prepared by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). All professional coaches, not only ICF members, can participate.

2015 Global Coaching Survey is the third edition of the most comprehensive global research in the field of professional coaching. The aim of the study is to explore current trends in coaching development as well as identify challenges and opportunities coaches are going to face in the future.

The survey is open until the end of the year

Coaches can take part in the study at www.CoachingSurvey2015.com until 31st of December 2015. The data collected will serve as a basis for the creation of a detailed report on the current state of the industry. Coaches, organizations and the media can then learn more about the numbers and demographic profiles of professional coaches, how much they earn, and the most common specializations.

The survey is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The participants will receive an advance copy of the study findings.

The most recent data is from 2011

The first ICF global coaching study was carried out in 2006. 6,000 coaches from more than 70 countries participated and the findings were published under the title 2007 ICF Global Coaching Study. The second study was conducted in 2011 and involved more than 12,000 coaches from 117 countries. It was published here: 2012 ICF Global Coaching Study.

According to the results of the 2011 study, there were approximately 47,500 professional coaches in the world, 87% of which were active. They earned an average of $ 47,900 a year. The total global revenues from coaching reached almost $ 2 billion in 2011. Most coaches at that time expected further growth in client numbers, organized coaching sessions and income. If you  have something to say about what has changed, you now have the opportunity to do it.
