Twitter is a social network based on short posts, called tweets, shared among its users. The length of a tweet is limited to 140 characters, similar to text messages on mobile phones, which is why this social network is also known as the "SMS of the Internet". Currently, Twitter has more than 310 million users worldwide.
In 2015 the number of Czech Twitter users exceeded 300,000. That is far notably fewer than the most popular social network in the country - Facebook; however, HR professionals may also find interesting candidates for their jobs on Twitter. Otherwise, more than 60,000 job listings would not appear on Twitter every day.
