Have specific goals
According to Sales Gravy, you must above all have a specific goal in mind. Construct the training backwards, i.e. first determine what exactly you want to achieve, and only then think about how to achieve it and the steps you will have to take.
Focus on habits
Many training sessions focus only on theoretical knowledge and skills. But often the biggest problem in implementing positive changes in the life of employees is overcoming their habits and the status quo. You should therefore focus on how you teach staff to incorporate the newly acquired knowledge into their everyday work.
Practical experience
During the training, employees should try out their new skills in a practical manner. By sitting passively and listening, they will never achieve the same success as when you spend time during the training letting them try out practical things.
Feedback
Your employees are not students who have no say in what will happen. On the contrary: feedback on their part is extremely important. Discuss with them in advance what they want to learn and what they lack in terms of knowledge and skills. Also, at the end of the training, carry out a survey on how effective they found the training and what they would change in it, so that you have relevant data for the next training session sometime in the future.
