Compared to the previous release of the study from July 2011 when 56% of companeis worldwide were recruiting managers and professionals, it is 55% of the companies now. 54% of the companies are planning to recruit managers and professionals in the next quarter. The rate of attrition of managers and professionals fell from 20% in December to 18%.In Western Europe, managers and professionals were recruited mostly by companies in Malta (53%), Denmark (51%), Luxembourg (50%) and Finland (49%). The worst situation was in Spain (29%). In Eastern Europe, managers and professionals were recruited mostly by companies in Bulgaria (62%), Russia (58%) and Poland (58%). The worst situation was in Hungary (38%) and Turkey (41%).
The interest of companies in the Czech Republic fell after the boom in recruiting managers and professionals in December 2011 (65%) to the current 47%. At the same time, the number of companies releasing employees in these positions rose from 23% to 28%. The good news is that the majority of staff recruited under the boom at the end of last year kept their jobs.
Globally, most managers and professionals are being hired in the Philippines (97% of companies). China has seen an increase from 67% in December to 72%. Conversely, India declined from 72% to 55%.
