Principles of business partnering apply to all HR roles. Whether you are a generalist or a specialist in employee development or renummeration, the point is to be able to provide your customers with services in the context of the whole business of your company. The CV of a HR business partner should not miss the following:

Knowledge of business

Present yourself primarily a business (not HR) expert who can deliver measurable results to a company. Emphasize the non-HR activities in which you participated.

Managing relationships

Show that you can solve even complex relationships and ensure a strong position for HR in the company. Any partnership is a matter of strong relationships built on trust.

Proactivity

Attach examples of opportunities and challenges you have found yourself. Describe your solutions.

Innovation

Describe examples of ideas you came with and that brought real business benefits. Demonstrate how you have contributed to the continuous improvement of the organization.

Credible measures

Add specific benchmarks such as reduced costs of benefits, reduced recruitment time, reduced absences or increased engagement to all your achievements.
