What actually is "employer brand", a term increasingly used in the context of the current low unemployment rate and labour shortage?

Put simply, it's what people think about a company as an employer. Not only current staff but also potential employeees from the wider public are considered here.

In the language of HR marketing, this means the need to build a company's good name in relation to employees and public affairs so as to gain a competitive advantage for recruiting and retaining employees.
