Wage increases
According to CareerBuilder, next year will be defined by a further increase in pay. Employers will want to retain their current workers or recruit new ones. An increase in wages is one of the ways to achieve these goals. Almost half of employers plan to increase wages next year.
More benefits
in addition to the purely financial side of things, employers will also try to attract employees through benefits. 31% of companies will seek options to offer employees discounts with various partners, while one out of four employers is considering an offer, under certain circumstances, of at least partial home office.
Required PC knowledge
Knowledge of computers and modern communication technologies will soon start being the basic standard with virtually any type of work. This is due to technological progress and the fact that IT technologies have found their way into almost all aspects of human work.
Leaving current jobs
The unemployment rate is low but there should be no severe shortage of candidates. 22% of employees state that in the short-term future they will at least be looking at other career options.
Seasonal workers
When personal resources are not enough, employers must seek at least seasonal workers and short-term contractors. Increase in the demand for these short-term employees will occur during the traditional seasons, such as summer or the Christmas period.
