Study called Global Top Companies for Leaders 2011 was published by Fortune magazine in cooperation with consulting firms Hewitt Aon and RBL Group. It is based on an evaluation panel of independent experts who evaluated the strength of leadership practices and culture in more than 470 companies.
Other companies in the global top 25 include: Aditya Birla, Colgate-Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, ICICI Bank, McDonald's, Whirlpool, PepsiCo, General Electric, BBVA, Natura, Deere, 3M, Eli Lilly, McKinsey, L'Oreal, Unilever, Siemens Intel, China Vanke, Wipro, Bharti Airtel and Novartis.
All these companies have clear business scenarios for investment in leadership. They all measure their leadership development processes and evaluate their succession management programs. Leadership is considered a strategic priority.
Top 7 companies for leaders in Europe are: Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), L'Oreal, Unilever, ArcelorMittal, Siemens, Raiffeisen Bank International and Novartis.
