What does a good boss want from his people?

A good boss knows how to clearly communicate his expectations to his team so that everyone understands what to do for the success of the company. 1. Keep your word

Work on your tasks conscientiously. Do not make impossible promises and avoid vague statements such as "Maybe" or "I'll try."

2. No surprises, please

Although some news may not be pleasant for him, your boss wants to hear the bad news, too.

3. Be prepared

Show that you are competent. Prepare for each meeting with your boss in detail to know answers to basic questions from your filed.

4. Take your job seriously

You do not have to be an expert on everything, but you should be able to show that you are interested in your work and you are willing to learn.

5. If you disagree with certain decisions, express yourself on time

If you feel that your boss makes a bad decision, try to convince him to decide otherwise. However, once the decision is made, do everything to fulfill it no matter what you think.

6. Do not come with complaints but with solutions

Do not come to your boss with complaints about problems until you think about them for a while and propose a solution or at least until you are willing to accept the boss's advice.

7. Communicate clearly and concisely

Your boss is a busy man and has no time to guess what you are trying to say so long-windedly. Be brief up and go straight to the point in both speaking and writing.

8. Understand the goal of your work

No matter what your job despriction says, your job is mainly to the achieve the success of your boss. Similarly, the boss's job is to help his people achieve greater success.
