If you want to be a leader and achieve something in this role, you must have the courage to make decisions and hold responsibility for your decisions. You should be able to grapple with the fear of the unknown and the fear of failure and lead your team to courage as well. How to do it? Interesting tips were published by Brad Lomenick on Fastcompany.com. "The natural response is to run from what frightens us, but life's greatest leaps occur when we resist this impulse," says Lomenick.

1. Set your people a scary goal

Teach them to overcome their fear the same way as you are learning it yourself. Let them become leaders.

2. Do not punish failures

You know that the road to success leads through a lot of failures. Try to get an opposite stance on the issue and encourage your people to try new things and experience a failure.

3. Be a strong decision maker

As a leader you are expected to make decisions. Don't let ideas run through your team without clearly specifying what to do and what not to do.

4. Promote innovation

People who come up with innovations are not afraid to risk. Therefore, encourage your people to come up with innovative ideas and reward them for it.

5. Select meaningful risks

Certainly, not all risks are meaningful. Learn, therefore, how to openly say "no" to the risks that are not beneficial for your team at the moment.

6. Delegate

Even delegation requires courage, specifically they courage to trust others. However, if you want to have a courageous, there is no other way.
