1. Devote time to active business
Think of the last situation when someone has tried to convince you to buy something that you did not need and he succeeded. How is that possible? Probably because this salesperson is a real enthusiast and a master at what he does.
If you have a similar passion for the business you do, then you are the most important person in your company. Take advantage of it, and spend some time with active business either on the phone or in personal communications.
2. Find your blood
On social networks and the Internet in general, you meet a lot of interesting people and communities. However, they all usually discuss three topics: they complain about the politics and related persons, share posts unilaterally supporting a project or enthusiastically share a passion for something. Do you know which group you should join? Your goal is to strike up a conversation about topics which are at least partly related to your products. Sooner or later, you will surely find some fans who will support your vision.
3. Avoid what you do not like
You do not teach karate, do not do programming or do not devote your time to accounting simply because you do not like it. Therefore, if you have at least a minimal chance of influencing the direction of your business in the way you would choose, then there is no reason to do something you are not interested in. Why would a web designer who designs websites for pharmaceutical companies and repairs cars at home just for fun, not dedicate time to web designing in the automotive field? Can you find any areas in your business, which you can do purely as a hobby? Use your inner motivation to grow your business and the satisfaction of your existing partners and prospects.
