If you have not finished your slides, you have not found out information about your audience, or you have not rehearsed your speeches aloud, we have bad news for you - you cannot manage it in time. This article provides practical advice for those of you who are well prepared, but still lack a good start before the performance. Use the bathroom

Always plan a few minutes for using the bathroom. You surly know that nervousness can take its toll.

Check the room and technology

Get to know the room, the sound system and lighting in advance. Try out whether you will sit or stand and how you will talk to the audience.

Greet the audience

Shake hands with the people who come and exchange a few words. You will look more comfortable and accessible.

Think about the first minute

Rehearse the opening of your presentation in your mind. Clear knowledge of the beginning will give you confidence and help you make a good first impression.

Think positively

You can get rid of dry mouth or the lump in the throat by drinking water at room temperature, ideally with lemon. Keep water handy during the presentation too. Avoid cold and fizzy drinks and also dairy products.

Anxiety tightens not only your neck but also the muscles of your chest. Therefore, focus on breathing deeply, which will help you relax.
