Scott Edinger, is know for his  vast experience working with senior leaders.

They are trusted and they build relationships

Their relationships don’t have to be based on being nice, but they are always built on confidence in their expertise. They can be trusted and they are known for always working in  the best interest of the company and its customers. Therefore they are able to influence decision making and have a say when it comes to prioritizing projects. When changes are discussed people listen to them, because they treat people as equals when  interacting with them. They see human beings, where others may only care that the tasks are finished and work is being done. As a result, their colleagues often feels some kind of connection with them.

They want to see results

Further, they care more about the long-term effects and results than just checking off daily tasks. They know the importance of finding resolutions to unpleasant issues and implementing various changes and innovations. Their actions are guided by the needs of the business, for which they have deep understanding. When they are at work, they do whatever it takes to make things better and introduce new best practices.

They have integrity and can be counted on

They are willing to give honest feedback when they think it is necessary. Also they express their opinions truthfully and directly, they never hide what they are thinking. When someone is inconsistent with objectives or goes against core values of the company, they are the one who speaks up. They are reliable and accountable for their actions at all time.
