These data come from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which is the first ranking of its kind in the world updated daily and publicly accessible online. It has become a standard of measuring the movement of the largest estates in the world.
The Bloomberg Billionaires Index was launched in 2012 as an overview of the wealth of the 20 richest people in the world. Gradually it expanded to 200 billionaires and has had a new look since March 2017, which involves not only more transparent graphics but also a greater amount of the details monitored and, especially, a larger number of the billionaires monitored, which is now 500.

Besides broader information about the current state and development of the wealth of the 500 richest people in the world, the new index also offers individual pages with biographies of the billionaires and practical comparisons of the relative value of their assets.
We can learn, for example, how many ounces of gold or barrels of oil are equivalent to the amount of assets of individual billionaires.
The profile of the richest man in the world, Bill Gates, is available here. There is similar information on the profile of the richest Czech Petr Kellner, currently ranked in 102nd place.
Comparisons of (up to eight) individual billionaires or groups of billionaires (by country, region, industry) are also newly available.
