Warren Buffett (86) is currently the second richest man in the world. In 2008, however, he ranked first among the world's billionaires according to Forbes magazine.

He is a legendary businessman and investor. Since he comes from the city of Omaha, Nebraska, in the US, he is often dubbed as the Oracle or Wizard of Omaha.

He earned his assets exceeding $ 75 billion mainly thanks to investments made via his holding company Berkshire Hathaway which he took over in 1965.

Despite his wealth, Warren Buffett is known for his hard work, unpretentious lifestyle and philanthropy.

He donated 85% of the Berkshire Hathaway stocks to charity, notably via his Buffett Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In the last decade, he donated more than 25 billion dollars to charitable organizations.

2. He was rejected at Harvard. Then he wrote two men he admired as investors who were teaching at the Columbia University, and he was accepted. In the letter he wrote: "I thought you guys were dead, but now that I found out that you're alive and teaching at Columbia, I would really like to come."

3. In 2013, he earned $ 37 million a day.

4. He earned more than 90% of his wealth after the age of 60.
