Richard Branson: The 10 commandments of successful entrepreneurship

People achieve great things not because they are don't feel fear, but because they are not afraid to feel fear. They can face their fear and perceive their ambitions as an opportunity to do something positive for others, which is a crucial step towards success.

This is the opinion of Richard Branson, a British billionaire and owner of the Virgin brand.

In a recent article on his blog, Branson explains how rewarding it is for successful people to share their experiences of a successful business that brings benefits for other people.

Based on his success in the world of business, he compiled the following ten rules for entrepreneurs.

1. Go for your dreams

You'll enjoy your life much more and you will be more willing to take risks.

2. Don't do business for yourself alone

People shouldn't do business if their activities don't have any positive impact on employees, customers and the world.

3. Believe in yourself

If you don't believe in yourself, nobody else will.

4. Have fun

In order to succeed, you should love what you do. Otherwise, find something else.

5. Hold on

Every adventure includes moments when you want to give up. Giving up is an easy solution, but you have to persevere and try again.

6. Look for new challenges

Write down new ideas and goals that come to mind. You'll have a clear overview of where you're headed. Otherwise, you'll forget about them.

7. Delegate

Delegation is a key skill of any businessman. Find people who can do what you can't. You'll have more time to plan the future and spend with your loved ones.

8. Take good care of your employees

Employees who like to work for you and want to do something for other people always perform better.

9. Get to know the world

There are many great people, opportunities and adventures that will enrich you in the world. Only the time you spend watching TV or at your computer is wasted.

10. Prove that others are wrong about you

Success brings out envy and malice in people who begrudge you your success. If someone spreads negative and false information about you, you can ignore it, but it's better to prove it wrong.
