Influencer marketing is not a new concept; nevertheless, it is one which is still often misunderstood by business people. You don’t need to hire top celebrities and youtubers; instead, you can just choose the local and national leaders in your industry or in your selected niche.

Influencer marketing is not about bribing famous influencers to mention you in their content. You need to take a much more subtle approach. Work together with them to produce co-created content.

Micro-influencer marketing can quickly improve your brand awareness and establish a connection with your target niche. Maintain relationships with your influencers. Measure results. Spending money in itself will not suffice; be ready to work with micro-influencers.

Experiment with new formats

Be aware of the need for videos in your marketing. You can also offer podcasts or maybe a bot to take care of Facebook messages and improve your customer service. Don’t be afraid of trying new things: experiment with new formats and media and, if they don’t work, be prepared to ditch them fast.

If you are currently producing only long-form content, you could give a try also to shorter formats, such as stories on Instagram or Facebook, to keep in touch with your audience. Or if you have been posting short videos and brief content, try longer forms so as to rank better in searches and increase the incoming traffic.
