Preparation for the next day
An excellent way to start a working day is by knowing exactly what you will be doing so as not to lose time getting yourself organised. Learn to prepare tasks and a schedule for the following day every afternoon, so the next morning you can come and start working effectively right away.
Afternoon physical activity
According to Psychology Today, most people do physical activities and sports either in the early morning or in the evening. With regard to how a body works and to boost energy, it is a good idea to try and include at least some small physical activity in the early afternoon and thus get an energy boost for the rest of the afternoon.
Meditation and relaxation
If you end your working day in a hurry and are stressed out until the evening, it can easily happen that you will not sleep well, your mind will be active even during the night and the next day you will wake up tired. Learn to provide relaxation to your mind in the evening and incorporate some relaxing activity into your evening rituals.
As many decisions as possible in advance
The more decisions and preparations you leave for the morning, the more chaotic and stressed out you will be when starting the next day. Make waking up easier by deciding as much as possible the previous evening: prepare clothes for the following day, prepare your bag too and, ideally, also your breakfast. Thus the next morning there will be only minimum work that needs doing.
