1) Inspired people focus on "why"

Truly inspirational leaders won’t tell you how to do anything. They lead the conversation in a way that focuses on the reason for doing this or that. In this way they want to encourage you to aim for uniqueness.

They try to show you why you are where you are and what your joint mission is. Using this as a starting point, finding a way is much easier since you are more determined and, even in the face of adversity and criticism, are more likely to decide to keep pushing on.

Furthermore, you will be respectful and smiling when confronted with critics and opponents. You will know that you have a purpose and that, eventually, you will win. You are not a reckless gambler without a clear strategy; you are merely taking calculated risks.

2) Get others to solve real problems

Often, clever marketing leads to financial gain even for firms that are not offering any real value. However, companies should always be aiming to solve some genuine problem, no matter which field they are in. Inspirational leaders should encourage their employees to do their best to identify real problems and use their skills to solve them.

3) Explain that relationships are important
