Why am I always too busy? And what can be done about it?

Being chronically busy: this is the lifestyle disease of modern managers. They can hardly keep up with dashing from one meeting to another, having to talk to staff, dealing with their own work plus other business, and they end up not finishing anything. So they have to work evenings and weekends, while the frustration of employees increases because the manager is not paying them any attention.
