New Year's resolution in CRM: Don't give up!

Implementation of CRM in a company is similar to starting the New Year with a diet and an exercise plan. The same is also the most common reason for failure - most people simply give up too soon.

New Year's resolutions to regularly visit the gym usually last up to two months. Then the number of visitors return to year-round average. There are five reasons why people give up:

  1. The results are not visible fast enough.
  2. Exercise is not fun.
  3. Monitoring of all consumed food is too confusing.
  4. Exercising is hard, sometimes it even hurts.
  5. Lack of additional motivation.

In businesses, it works similarly. If a company wants to solve problems in CRM, it seems easy to just buy a new software and without any additional effort. However, neither in weight loss, nor in CRM can you expect miracles.

Improved results in prospecting or work with contacts are the result of long-term changes and hard work. If you accept this, you get rid of unrealistic expectations.

CRM software can help a lot by accumulating and at the right time providing invaluable information and thereby enabling the creation of best practices. But the software itself is not enough and you will not see results immediately.
