The queen of brands who wrote marketing  textbooks, was defeated. Currently according to Interbrand, the most valuable brand has now become Apple, but that's not all. Second place went to Google, which moved up two places from last year's fourth place.

According to information from Interbrand, the main reason for the decline is not as much weaker marketing of Coca Cola, but rather strengthening of brands in the electronic sector in general. The top ten brands are now dominated by technology companies:

1. Apple
2. Google
3. Coca-Cola
4. IBM
5. Microsoft
6. GE
7. McDonald’s
8. Samsung
9. Intel
10. Toyota

The results only confirmed the findings of BrandZ last May, which also evaluated Apple and Google as the brands with the highest value. Further strengthening of technology brands can be expected in the future.

Can you see this trend also in the Czech Republic?
