6 tips for simpler life on Facebook

The necessity of Facebook as part of a marketing strategy can no longer be doubted. But not everyone knows all the tricks that the platform offers to support their business. Facebook also tries to make "customer experience" of the company's customers more comfortable and to allow for more efficient operations.

Here are some useful tips, which you might not have known:

  1. Embedding Facebook posts.  You can insert an interesting post on a website or blog by clicking on the button in the upper right corner. Click on Embed post to get a unique code to embed your post on another page.
  2. Editing hyperlinks. After you insert a hyperlink, you will automatically see a preview  with an image, title and a brief description. Everything is editable. Just move your mouse over the part you need to edit.
  3. Scheduling posts. There is no more the need to use tools like HootSuite. You can scedule publishing posts directly on Facebook now. Just click on the date and time in the lower left corner. It is also possible to target directly to a specific location or even pin the post to a place.
  4. Adjust the image layout. After inserting a photo on Facebook, it will automatically be centered so that it fits in the space provided. If the image is larger or smaller than the standard Facebook, you can re-position it after inserting. Again, the button in the upper right corner will help.
  5. All Facebook users can found. It is no longer possible to have a hidden profile on Facebook. This feature is still enabled for internet search, viewing is only possible on Facebook.
  6. Editing posts and comments. Grammatical errors now easily be fixed - Facebook now allows editing posts with the upper button.
