Emotional intelligence and its role in a business team

When most people hear the word “intelligence”, they think of IQ, but there are actually several types of intelligence. Some of these are more important for ordinary human behavior and for society than just  IQ. Emotional intelligence is crucial, not only for interpersonal relationships, but also for business relationships. It can be defined as the ability to recognize and create emotions in other people, and to process these emotions. It's also the ability to self-reflect and to process one's own feelings. In this article, we will look at how and why emotional intelligence is important in a business team.
