- Knowledge of Excel. You don't need a PhD in statistics, but an ability to work with spreadsheets, entering basic formulas and work with tables and data is necessary.

- High tolerance to chaos and change. Modern marketing is very dynamic, and the ability to adapt to change and respond quickly is essential. This skill often determines whether or not a marketer is successful.
- The ability to ask precise questions. It is what determines how quickly you get to the heart of the matter and how you recognize whether you've made sufficient effort. The better you ask, the better you can customize marketing activities and do what really is important.
