How to force yourself to make calls when you don't feel like it

Using the telephone as a sales tool is a must for most business sectors. Approaching prospects by phone is still one of the most effective methods of prospecting.

Nonetheless, many businesspeople are reluctant to make calls: they dislike phone conversations and keep postponing them, doing other things instead. How can you accept calling as a necessary part of business and how can you overcome a natural distaste for picking up the phone and calling strangers?
