See things in context

A certain amount of humor, being on top of things and positive thinking: according to Entrepreneur.com, this is the recipe for getting over obstacles that life and work put in front of us all the time. Keep a positive mindset, no matter what your recipe is.

Anticipating failure

Successful people know that failure can occur, and they are able to prepare for it both mentally and practically. Failure is a necessary part of the path towards success, and the fact that it happens shows that you are not staying inside your comfort zone.

Learning

You should be able to learn from failure and analyze what went wrong, and then use this information in your later work.

Adjusting goals

Every salesperson (and every person) should have their personal goals defined, both long-term and short-term. If you encounter a major failure, it's a good time to audit these goals and alternatively adjust them using your newly gained knowledge.

Focus on strengths

In order for the failure to push you further and to make you stronger, you must focus on your strengths, show them off and emphasize them in your work.
